The present article deals with the contribution of the realistic evaluation of the inflation mechanism’s pressuremeter probe and the technico-economical consequences for the project manager and the project owner. This new approach has allowed an optimization of the sheet pile modulus, by re-evaluating with more accuracy the soil parameters.
